Specification for installation and acceptance of steel structure corrosion protection and fire retardant coating engineering

1.1. This chapter is applicable to the construction quality acceptance of coating and coating engineering of steel structure.


1.2 the steel structure coating engineering can be divided into one or several inspection batches according to the principle of steel structure or steel structure installation.


1.3 the general coating engineering of steel structure shall be carried out after the construction quality acceptance of the steel structure component assembly, pre-assembly or steel structure installation engineering inspection approval. Steel structure fire retardant coating engineering shall be carried out after the inspection of steel structure installation engineering inspection batch and the construction quality of general coating inspection batch of steel structure.


In 1.4, coating of environmental temperature and relative humidity should accord with the requirement of coating product manuals, when no product manuals, environmental temperature should be between 5 ~ 38 ¡æ, relative humidity should not be greater than 85%. The surface should not be exposed when painting; After coating, 4h should be protected from rain.


2. Coating of steel structure anticorrosive paint

The rust of the steel surface shall conform to the design requirements and the relevant standards of the state. After treatment, the surface of steel shall not be slag, scar, dust, oil, water and burr. When the design is not required, the stainless steel surface shall be in accordance with the provisions of table 14.2.1.


Inspection quantity: 10% of the number of components, and no less than 3 of the same kind.


Test method: use a shovel knife to check and inspect the images controlled by the current national standard "rust and rust grade of steel surface" and "rust removal grade" GB8923.

Steel structure coating


2.2 coating, coating and coating thickness should meet the design requirements. When the design is not required for the thickness of the coating, the total thickness of the coating film is 150 mu m, and the room shall be 125 mu m, and the allowable deviation is -25 mu m. The allowable deviation of the coating thickness of the coating is -5 mu m.


Inspection quantity: 10% of the number of components, and no less than 3 of the same kind.


Test method: use dry paint film thickness gauge to check. Each component detects 5 points, and the value of each of the components is the mean of the thickness of the paint film of the coating of 3 different measuring points of 50mm.

2.3. The surface of the member shall not be misapplied or omitted, and the coating shall not be uncoated and rusted. The coating should be uniform, without obvious wrinkling, falling, needle eye and air bubble etc.

Test method: observe and inspect.

2.4, when the steel structure in corrosion medium environment or the leakage and design requirements, should carry on the coating adhesion test, in the detection range, when coating complete degree above 70%, the coating adhesion to achieve acceptable quality standards.


Number of inspections: 1% of the number of components, and not less than 3 pieces, each measuring 3.


Test method: according to the current national standard, the method GB1720 or "paint and varnish paint, paint film," GB9286.


2.5. After the coating is completed, the symbol, marking and number of the components shall be clearly and completely intact.

3. Coating of fire retardant coating for steel structure

3.1. The coating of rust and anti-rust primer should meet the requirements of design and the relevant standards of the state.


Inspection quantity: 10% of the number of components, and no less than 3 of the same kind.


Inspection methods: surface derusting and spatulas are used to inspect and inspect the images controlled by the current national standard, the rust grade and rust grade of the steel surface before coating. The paint coating is inspected by the dry paint film thickness instrument, and the average value of the coating thickness of the coating is the value of 3 parts per unit.


3.2 the bond strength and compressive strength of the steel structure fire retardant coating shall conform to the provisions of the current national standard of application of steel structure fire retardant coatings (CECS24:90). The test method shall meet the requirements of the current national standard "test method for the performance of fire-resistant coating materials for building components" GB9978.


Check the quantity: every 100t or less 100t thin coated fire retardant coating should be checked at once. For every 500t or less 500t thick coating, the bonding strength and compressive strength should be checked.


Inspection method: check the reinspection report.


3.3 coating thickness of thin coated fireproof coatings should meet the design requirements of fire resistance limits. The thickness of coating of thick coating of fire retardant coating, 80% and above area should meet the design requirement of fire resistance limit, and the thinnest thickness should not be less than 85% of design requirement.


Check number: check 10% according to the same kind of component, and should not be less than 3.


Test method: the coating thickness measuring instrument, needle and steel rod inspection. The measurement method shall conform to the state's current standards of application of steel structure fire prevention coatings, CECS24:90 and appendix F of this specification.


3.4. The surface crack width of coatings coated with thin coatings should not be greater than 0.5mm; The thickness of coating surface cracks should not be greater than 1mm.


Number of inspections: 10% of the same type of components, and no less than 3.


Methods of inspection: observation and measurement of ruler.

3.5. The coating base of fire retardant coating shall not be stained with oil, dust and mud.

3.6. The fire retardant coating shall not be applied in the wrong way, and the coating shall be closed with no delamination, empty drum, obvious sag, loose powder and loose pulp, etc. The mastoid process has been removed.
